Understanding hallucinations
Learn why AI can sound sure and still be wrong, and how to check.
Personalized, in-home AI sessions in Lisbon that start from what your child already loves. Parent present. Focused on critical thinking, creativity, and staying in control of the tools.

Many parents notice the same things: children using AI to skip the hard thinking, accepting confident-sounding answers that are wrong, or losing the joy of creating something themselves. Schools are still catching up. The gap between what kids need and what they currently get is growing.
A personal approach
Videogames, stories, drawing, building… the session is built around your child’s real interests.
Sessions happen at your house. A parent or guardian stays nearby.
Prompting, evaluating answers, spotting hallucinations, iterating, and staying in creative control.
Your child creates something original and develops the habit of questioning AI outputs.
Skills that stay with them

Use it to explore ideas, not replace thinking.
Get clearer, more useful results by asking better questions.
Improve ideas step by step instead of accepting the first answer.
Decide what to keep, what to discard, and why.
Stories, game concepts, and projects that are genuinely theirs.
Recognize when AI outputs are incomplete or skewed.
Develop the habit of leading the AI instead of following it.
Cross-check important information with reliable sources.
Use AI in the early stages of ideas without losing ownership.
Explain ideas and give better instructions to both people and AI.
Understand when and how to use AI tools thoughtfully and ethically.
I’m Jose Carlos Salazar Quesada. I’ve spent more than a decade working with data, analytics, and operations at companies including Walmart, Pfizer, HP, and Boston Consulting Group. At BCG I led AI enablement for the Lisbon office, training teams on practical, responsible use of AI tools and driving real process improvements.
My academic background includes engineering and two MBAs, combining technical problem-solving with business and leadership. Teaching has always been a big part of my life. I started at university as a tutor for math courses, then taught databases for Smash AI and helped underprivileged children prepare for their math tests. Most recently, I have been finishing my teaching degree at ULACIT, bringing that lifelong commitment to learning into my work with children.
Today I run Brighter Latitude, a personalized travel company that combines AI, analytics, and human judgment to design journeys around what each traveler actually cares about. That same belief in deep personalization now guides how I teach children.
I’m also a board member with SOS Children’s Village. I believe the best learning happens when it is tailored, supervised, and rooted in curiosity rather than shortcuts. Sessions are in English or Spanish (I have basic Portuguese).
